THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD WALK.
Rating 5 stars.
What a week!!!
4 days of paradise and I feel so grateful.
While Melbourne had 2 days of storms, heavy rain and even some hail, on the walk we had 10 minutes of rain TOTAL.
On Tuesday I joined a group of 9 to explore the highlights of a 4 day Great Ocean Road Walk. I did not know any of these other 8 people but we didn't take long to get to know each other. We had a gorgeous young couple from Singapore who were visiting Australia for the first time. We were all very proud to show off our beautiful state and in turn they fell in love with our amazing Australian coastline. We had 2 lovely couples that drove down from NSW. We had 1 from Warrnambool and 1 from Geelong, and of course myself from Port Melbourne.
Our amazing guides Eric and Lee could not do enough for us, setting us up for an amazing 4 days.
Some of the highlights of the trip were:
Starting with:
Apollo Bay - Always stunning and highlight in it's own right.
Blanket Bay
Urquhart Bluff
Parker Hill Inlet
- special 1.5 hour talk from Richard on the beach
Crayfish Bay
Cape Otway Lighthouse - One of the big stars of the show.
Moonlight Heads
Red Johanna Wreck Beach - Another big star of the show. Port Campbell - Fabulous place to base yourself. Loch Ard Gorge Gibson Steps 12 Apostles - The main event.
Some of the statistics!!
I Love Statistics.

126,250 steps
